BIOGRAPHY

The Lesters unique style of communicating their family unity, love and commitment to Jesus Christ is an
experience you will not want to miss! Known as “St Louis First Family of Gospel Music,” The Lesters have
faithfully served the Lord for four generations. Founded in 1925 by Harvey and Opal Lester, this talented family
group is celebrating 80 years of continuous Christian music ministry.

Brian Lester, lead singer, manager and emcee for the group, began his singing career with The Lesters at
the age of four. A natural on stage, Brian easily establishes a rapport with audiences wherever they appear.
His vibrant lead voice coupled with his spirited enthusiasm for God’s music makes him a valuable asset to
The Lesters ministry.

Ginger Pitchers, sister of Brian Lester, sings alto for the group. She is known for her smooth vocals. All
arrangements and producing of music for the Lesters is done by this talented individual. Ginger, like her
brother, has the ability to communicate her love for God to all generations.

Jonathan Lester is the son of Brian and Sandra Lester and represents the fourth generation of the ministry.
Jon, as his friends refer to him, is presently attending Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis, Missouri.
He is quite an athlete and on a soccer scholarship. The Lesters have always included the children in their
concerts, so Jon, like his Dad, has been singing since the age of four.

Jenny Revelle, soprano vocalist for the family, is the daughter of Dan and Ginger Pitchers. Jenny has a
distinct and deliberate way of delivering a song. Her powerful voice is a God-given talent and when she
sings, you can feel the message. Jenny is blessed with a wonderful husband Seth and they have two
beautiful daughters. She knows the importance of ministering to young couples with children in today’s
society.

The Lesters understand the great responsibility of being involved in the Gospel Ministry. Their heritage in
Gospel music is not taken lightly; and it is with great pride and prayerful care they pass this legacy down
to future generations. The sincere desire of The Lesters as they minister through this medium of Christian
Music is that each of their listeners will be moved to a deeper level of spiritual commitment.
