Biography

The Hayes Family carries a rich, music tradition of Southern Gospel music in a family style. For more than twenty years, they have traveled extensively throughout the Southeast sharing the gospel in song to thousands of people. Whether in a church or on stage, they share the message of Jesus' love with a warmth that will leave you richly blessed.Their musical tradition began in 1958, with Howard and Lucy Hayes singing the old Convention songs. The legacy continues today as they are joined by their children; Janet, Sharon, and Mylon. From their earliest days of singing hymns in shaped-note harmonies to today's newest songs in Gospel music, they present their style of worship to the Father as a family.

The gift of music does not stop with just their vocal abilities. In addition, they also play instruments for the group and when not on the road traveling can be found writing songs or teaching a music student. In a world where today's family structure seems to be crumbling before our very eyes, it is truly a blessing to be a part of the closeness this family shares.
